#HighFives Build Strong Teams - It's Science

There have been many studies on high fives, including an in-depth study by the Wall Street Journal, which found that the 2011 NBA World Championships, aka the Dallas Mavericks, high-fived more than any other team.

It turns out that high fives correlate with team success and improved teamwork. Although high fives are commonplace on the court, they can be equally effective in the business industry, and companies are realizing that strong teams thrive on the concept of the #win, the #highfive, and #kudos to create shared success and reinforce values.

UC Berkely's Dacher Keltner sampled NBA games for more than 8 months to count high fives. Watch the short video below to see his takeaways on the impact of high fives.
